I love this picture of us because it's one of the rare moments we're all together these days. Now that we're all spread out with Julie in VA, Meli in NJ, and me soon to be in GA...who knows when we'll all be together again :( I love you guys!

GOOD NEWS!

So, as most of you know by now, Carey and I received the news that we are going to be moving to the sunny state of Georgia! We'll be moving at the end of May and we're really excited! Of course we are also a little sad that we will be so far away from our friends & families, but now everyone has a good excuse to come visit us :) We also plan to purchase our FIRST house down there and so there will be plenty of room for everyone!
Alana seemed a little sad at first when we told her because she thought about leaving her friends(including her noni & popi) and I think when she heard "far away", it didn't sound too appealing. So I told her she'll make lot's of new friends and we could still write to her old friends here, but that wasn't good enough. Then I told her she'll have her own room when we buy a house and we could paint it a pretty color that she picks out. Still not good enough. The only thing that seemed to crack a smile from her was when I told her she could wear skirts practically everyday because it would be so sunny and warm! haha... it's a start I guess!
Of course it'll be an adjustment for all of us, but we have faith that everything will work out :)
